offering a realistic portrayal of Korea’s modern history.

The lively performance of the cast of eighteen actors fills the revolving stage with vibrant energy.

We are not an extinct volcano, but an active one!

A quiet, rural village is transformed by a woman named Kim Jeong-sook.

Like a lantern flickering in the wind, she decides it’s time for her to step up in such precarious circumstances.

Jeong-sook does everything she can to revive the household and restore its prosperity.

Now she is a mighty flame, blazing and surging dynamically like an active volcano full of life.

SYNOPSIS
In a rural village in Gyeongsangbuk-do lies the ancestral home of the Lee family.
Elderly Mr. Lee, owner of the house and 13th generation descendant, lives with his wife Shim, their two sons Sang-man and Sang-seok, their wives, and the children of their late brother, spanning three generations.
Despite the facade of their noble lineage, only the superficial shell remains as the household debts pile up, leading to the family's gradual decline.

Sang-seok, over the objections of his wife Jeong-sook, enthusiastically runs for chairman of the livestock cooperative, but ultimately loses.
To make matters worse, the elderly Mr. Lee passes away.
Then, forty-nine days after the old man’s death, Jeong-sook steps forward in front of everyone amidst the ongoing despair of the unresolved circumstances.
With a simple question, “Will you leave it to me?”, she begins to change everything.
