“Captivated the Chinese audience with a Chinese story at a Chinese theatre” - Yang Sen Chinese Playwright and Director

October 2016, <The Orphan of Zhao> made the Chinese audience laugh and cry at the National Theatre of China in Beijing, China, the home country of Ji Junxiang, the original author. The thirteen-hundred audience members, who had sat in silent tension, rose in a standing ovation the moment the play ended; celebrating the birth of a classic. Receiving the positive evaluation that a classic known by all Chinese has been newly interpreted by a Korean director and actor, <The Orphan of Zhao> now comes to Seoul, Cheonan, and Daejeon from China.
