National Theater Company of KOREA

We apologize for any inconveniences but we would like to encourage our patrons to use public transportation.

Myeongdong Theater is a heritage building renovated on the site of the home of the original National Theater built in 1934 and the site does not have any parking space.

Patrons travelling by car (or taxi) can drop their passengers near the entrance of Myeongdong-gil across the Lotte Department Store or the entrance of Myeongdong 9-gil near KEB bank and Euljiro 1-ga subway station, which has a dropped pavement area.

Meyongdong is also a special tourist zone and when there are street concerts or events any time of the year it can mean that public transport and roads are busier, which may affect your journey to the theater.
